Abstract

On November 19, 2020 Gennady Zdanovich passed away. His name is forever associated with the brightest discovery of the end of the 20th century – the settlement, the proto-city of Arkaim. Arkaim represents an entire historical era; it is a legend of steppe Eurasia. His description was included in all university and school textbooks on the ancient history of Kazakhstan.
