ON PERSONALITY IN SCIENCE – ACADEMICIAN BAIPAKOV K.M.

Abstract

November 17, 2020 would mark the 80^th anniversary of the birth of one of the leading archaeologists of Kazakhstan, Karl M. Baipakov – Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, corresponding member of the German Archaeological Institute (Germany), Doctor of Historical sciences, Professor, honored figure of science and technology of the Republic of Kazakhstan, laureate of the prize named after Ch. Ch. Walikhanov, honorary Director of the A. Kh. Margulan Institute of Archaeology, Director of the International Center for Cultural Rapprochement at UNESCO. Many working archaeologists today, I am not an exception, in their student years, comprehended the basics of archaeology on the textbooks and books of K. A. Akishev, M. K. Kadyrbayev, K. M. Baipakov and other famous archaeologists of the second half of the last century.
